Create customizable SVG map visualizations for the web.

DataMaps is a SVG-based resource that allows you to create customized maps using d3.js.

The tool includes global, USA specific, and a multitude of templates for other countries. These can then be further customized, integrating choropleths, bubble maps, and many other visual features through a dynamic plugin system.

DataMaps lists several projects that have leveraged its resources. Some examples include RunKeeper's interactive map depicting state-by-state running statistics, Our World in Data's atlas of interactive infant mortality maps, and Bloomberg's review of global economic growth in 2014.

You can try DataMaps for free in-browser using JS Bin.
