 Tableau Public is a data visualisation tool that enables users to condense complex datasets into simple and easy to read graphs, which allow for better understanding of the datasets.

Tableau is a helpful resource that can be used by journalists, bloggers, advocates, researchers, professors and students alike to look at a story from another perspective and give it a fresh new angle.

The software aims to help users to dig deeper into a story and perhaps discover new information that they were not aware of originally.  It also aims to help users to communicate complex data results in a way that everyone can understand.

The colourful, interactive, data visualisations are embeddable on websites and blogs.
